  4. You should find Deluxe Folder Icon Creator to be extremely easy to use, and it includes online help, so this Read Me file will be rather brief.

The easiest way to use Deluxe Folder Icon Creator (dFIC) is to simply drag a file (or application) onto the Deluxe Folder Icon Creator icon.  dFIC will automatically configure a custom folder icon for you, and display it in the center of the window.  If you want to make any modifications, use the various buttons on screen to customize it to your exact liking.  When you are finished, press Return or click on the OK button.

If you want to know what any of the controls do, simply move your mouse over them.  At the bottom of the window, a short help message will be displayed.  If you need any more information, click on the Deluxe Folder Icon Creator logo, or choose About Deluxe Folder Icon Creator… from the Apple menu.
